Lightroom 8.2 is out and the big feature is the new Enhance Details demosaic option. It’s a new way of processing Raw files that pulls way more detail from your file. The downside is you currently need to create a large DNG file to access it. I’m sure it’ll become the norm as computer speeds increase, and as the tech itself is enhanced.
