If there’s one question that you could ask of photographer, you’d imagine it would be something like, ‘What drives you to take the photographs you take?’. Or ‘What is the seat of your passion for photography?’. Except it’s neither, the most asked question is ‘What gear do you use?’. So to answer that question, I’ve made this page. Gear comes and goes, but this is what I’m using at the moment. And seeing as I’m giving out this information, I may as well give affiliate links to it.. You don’t need to buy through them. In fact if you have a local camera shop, go buy through them instead. Support your local economy where you can. If you’ve any questions on the gear, please feel free to ask via the contact page.

Cameras

I’m not gonna lie, I’ve had a lot of cameras. I only occasionally get to the point where I can sell them on, so I’ve loads still hanging around my house and studio. Right now, I’m using only Fuji and have sold loads of my Canon gear and the rest is for sale. I’m an Irish Fuji X-Photographer and am absolutely proud of that.  On that note, I have to say that I don’t get given free gear from Fuji. I’ve bought everything out of my own money, because I like the gear that much. Occasionally I can borrow gear to review it, but it always has to be returned (like the 18-135mm that I wrote about on Digital Photography School). So on with the list.
