Jameson Abart blogged a while ago about California Sunbounce products, noting of course that while they are the bees knees, they’re really pricey. I agree. Despite this I’d still love one of the micro mini’s with flash bracket.
James has a alternative, and I’ve been thinking along those lines also: DIY. He made 2 things, a large scrim and a gold reflector. I’m seriously thinking of following suit and making a micro mini in silver!

Go for it! You can easily accommodate by mounting an inexpenseive accessory shoe to the frame. I’d use a combination of a T fitting and 45 degree elbow along with a cap fitting to fashion a bracket that’s part of the frame assembly. Good luck and let us know how it goes.
