Here’s a shot I did of local hiker Mary Collins for Galway Now. Funny story about this shoot. Mary and I went out to Connemara to get an enviromental shot of her hiking. We had a great chat on the way out, she’s a really nice girl, and it was a beautiful day.

Of course, that wasn’t be to the way. Disaster struck in the form of a failed clutch, not far from Recess. Not close enough to the mountains at all!

After loads of to and fro, we organised a tow truck and nipped off to find a spot nearby where we might shoot. As luck would have it, we found a spot that was adequate near enough to the car. We did a few shots, and I sent in four. They were happy with them, fortunately. When we got back to the car, the tow truck was there. The insurance wouldn’t cover a trip home, so I opted to pay to get home, rather than have to make a trip back to the garage.
