Lightroom Tip: Email
There's been a few requests for a feature to make emailing out photos a single click option. In the meantime here's a quick way to get it done:
Create a 'For Email' folder in your Exported Photos folders and Shift Command E to Open the Export dialog, Tick constrain size and set it to Width 600 X Length 600, set quality to 60 and Color Space to sRGB. Hit Export.Go to the For Email folder and then drag and drop the files on Mail. It's not so hard and doesn't really add much fiddling, in fact it takes much longer to descibe than do!

Rain
There's nothing more depressing than checking to see that, despite the odd break, there's nothing but cold and rain for the foreseeable future.Tuesday, May 16, 2006
The Scoop
My mother is giving me grief for not blogging so much. I should really inform her of the blogs change of location! Anyhow. Speaking of Mothers, my mother in law is down visiting. She brought a 19" monitor with her. It's nice but I'm having a pain trying to calibrate it so i may get used as a tool and net screen rather than for photo editing. I had another lesson today with my driving instructor, Noel. This was the best yet and I felt very confident in the car, despite last weeks disasterous lesson. Hopefully I'll get insurance sorted really soon and get moving myself. I really need it!I've been given a small reprieve on moving studio from the Town Hall Theatre. I don't have to move out until the middle of June. I was told though not to expect the room to become available so quickly again though as Mike had other plans for it. This has spurred me on to get my sound store converted. I'm getting wooden flooring in instead of the orignal carpet that's there. (I hate carpet). I'm getting shelving too, 2 shelves, One about chest height and another equidistant between this one and the ceiling. This will give me enough room for storage and I'll get rid of all the dead inventory while I'm At it. The plan then is to get black drapes on the walls to help control contrast when shooting.
I've a few session planned and hopefully, with a bit of marketing, it will take off.
